About Probate Calendar Notes

The Probate Examiners review all petitions and orders for content and legal requirements before they are acted upon by the court. The Probate Examiners publish probate calendar notes itemizing any legal deficiencies on each case. Probate calendar notes are ordinarily available 6-8 days prior to the hearing on the Court's Public Portal.

A petition with deficiencies will show up on your notes as a question or a statement. If there is a NEEDED on your notes, please respond to that question or statement before the matter is heard by the court. Responding to the deficiency includes filing a pleading that conforms to Rules of Court 4.01 - external link and clearing the deficiency by amending or supplementing your petition. All pleadings must be filed by five days prior to the hearing date in order to be considered by the court.
