Matters heard at the George D. Carroll Courthouse

In this court you can file small claims, criminal, traffic, and landlord/tenant cases. This office files a limited number of Domestic Violence Restraining Order cases at 8:00 AM on Monday and Friday mornings only. Clerks accept payment of filing fees, traffic fines and fees, and sell court forms. People with limited jurisdiction civil cases may drop off their forms to be filed in Richmond, as long as their next hearing or filing deadline is at least 3 court days later. If you have less time than that, you must file your civil forms in Martinez at 725 Court Street, Room 103.
